Privacy
Last updated 18 October 2026
This policy explains what Burax collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act. Have it reviewed for your own business and jurisdictions before launch.
Who we are
Burax (https://buraxtech.com) is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@buraxtech.com.
What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, company, the services you are interested in, your message, any budget or timeline you choose, and the page you sent it from.
How we use it, and why we are allowed to
- To reply to you and discuss your project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
- To keep records of our conversations with clients. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the business.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and analytics
This site remembers your light or dark theme, and a few display choices, in your own browser. These never leave your device.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages are useful and which are not. Until you accept, analytics runs in a restricted mode that sets no analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Google processes this data as our processor and may transfer it outside the UK and EU under standard contractual clauses.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Some pages show films hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play; then the video comes from YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), under Google's privacy policy.
Who else handles it
Our website host, our form provider and our email provider process data on our behalf to deliver this site and your messages. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep project conversations for as long as they are useful to the work, and for up to six years after a project ends for legal and accounting reasons. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after two years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export what we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. California residents can also ask what we collect and request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information. Email hello@buraxtech.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK.
