About
A small studio that designs and builds.
Burax is a team of designers and engineers. We make websites, apps, software and automations for businesses that want to stand apart, in the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and India. The people you talk to are the people who do the work.
How we work
Every project runs the same way: align on the goal, design real screens you can click through, then build, launch and hand everything over. See the process
- 01
One team, design to launch
The people who design your site are the people who build it. Nothing is lost in a hand-off, and you speak to them directly.
- 02
Phones first
Most visitors arrive on a phone, so that is the screen we design for first and test on most.
- 03
Fast is part of the design
Performance budgets are set from the first commit and checked on a mid-range phone, not only on a fast laptop.
- 04
Plain words, written down
A written scope and quote before anything starts, previews along the way, and no jargon you have to decode.
- 05
Yours to own
The code, domain, hosting and accounts are in your name, and everything is handed over at the end.
- 06
Small on purpose
We take on a few projects at a time, so each one gets real attention from the people doing the work.
Who we work with
Local businesses
Garages, clinics, salons, restaurants and trades that need to be found and trusted on a phone.
Shops and brands
E-commerce that explains what it sells, with checkout in the way your customers like to pay.
Startups
A first version of an app or platform, built so it can grow instead of being thrown away.
Growing teams
Dashboards, portals and automations that take repetitive work off people's plates.
Where we are
Remote studio. We work remotely, plan calls in your working hours, and quote in your currency.
Have something in mind?
A few honest lines are enough. A person reads every message and replies.
